Joanna Muenz

Joanna is a baker, blogger, editor, apron collector, and expert snowman builder living in NYC. She began her career as a photo assistant at Glamour Magazine, tracking down hard to find images, and became an expert on celebrity baby names, from Apple to Zuma. She also blogged for Glamour.com as the site's first online dating blogger, kicking off their partnership with Match. As the associate photo editor at Shape Magazine she produced the real women section, conceptual stills and her other passion, food shoots. As photo editor at Latina Magazine, she collaborated with her team on finding the very best imagery possible, producing celebrity covers, food shoots and sourcing art for beauty, fashion, and life sections of the book. Recently as photo director at Parents Magazine, until they sadly closed in Feb 2022, Joanna tackled lifestyle and conceptual shoots, celebrity and food, and occasionally could be found crafting at her desk, or bringing in baked goods to share with staff. She resides in Astoria, Queens with her husband and two young sons, who offer constant chaos and inspiration for everything in her life.
